Created by interdisciplinary dance collective Uniqursal – Jeffrey Loewenicht, Megan Jane Simons, Joley Groeizaam and Simone Salerno – MOSAIC is a dynamic journey of self-discovery and connection through dance. Four characters, bound by their passions and a desire of fulfillment, navigate the complexities of acceptance and love as they discover the transformative power of Electro culture.

Uniqursal is a young interdisciplinary collective from Utrecht investigating Electro dance and striving to promote its culture in the Netherlands. The debut theater piece MOSAIC integrates influences from Hip-Hop, House and Krump. With MOSAIC, Uniqursal invites you to experience the transformative power of Electro culture through an intimate approach.

In conversation with the four performers and creators, Ludmila Rodrigues designed an inflatable that is choreographed throughout the piece as an architectural element as well as a character. Moreover, Rodrigues designed the harnessing materials that connect the body of the dancers to the inflatable, allowing them to sense and articulate forms.
