Sunset in Madurodam is an unusual edition of our work Sunset, that has been shown in Delft, The Hague, Paris and Amsterdam over the last five years. This time it became a miniature work, alongside Dutch landmarks at theme park Madurodam, in The Hague.

Invited again to present at BlowUp Art The Hague, in its 5th edition, the work is part of a unique selection to be featured not at the city center, but at the fantastical scaled-down landscapes of Madurodam. The chosen location for the midget sun is the pond by the Sint Hubertus Jachthuis / lodge, an iconic art déco house designed by Berlage for the Kröller-Müller family at the Veluwe, Gerlderland. Who knows one day the real size sculpture will be installed at the actual pond at the Kröller Muller park?
